Where Paint is our Passion
Amanda Funk paints your rooms, and picks the colours with you.
Amanda is the owner and painter of The Painter Lady. She has been painting in and around Edmonton for 10+ years, and her colour work always starts with a visit to your home.

It started with a feel for interior design
Amanda’s passion for interior design, combined with her skill set and professionalism, is what sets The Painter Lady apart. She is very connected and collaborative with clients, and that is why she has a history of many happy homeowners. You can always expect a professional and personable job.
Her stated aim is simple: help you create your vision, give your space a face lift and a new fresh feel.
The colour is chosen in your house, not from a catalogue
Amanda’s approach to colour is collaborative. She starts by visiting the site to get acquainted with you and your space, then folds your vision into a fine-tuned palette. If you have no vision yet, she can provide one. She considers the fixed elements of the room along with the belongings you love to display, and picks the paint colours that tie it all together.
Colour consultations are free when The Painter Lady is doing the painting, and all estimates are free. Read the colour consultation, start to finish.
A business built on referrals
That is how The Painter Lady describes itself. Laurie, a client, put it in her own words in October 2017.
“We are so thrilled with the outcome of the work Amanda did in our home! She was so professional from our first meeting to the end of the job. She is a very skilled painter and gave our home a fresh, updated look that it needed. She is also so very personal and we enjoyed having her in our home. I felt like I was coming home to a friend each day who had this amazing talent of beautifying my home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Amanda to anyone!”
